As my students will be learning STEM, Algebra, and Business in my classroom, my goal is to create an environment where each subject seems unique. This includes creating unique activities and programs for each of these subjects. The products that I have selected accomplish 4 major areas of our classroom. 1) A set of supplies for breakout room activities. The locks and lockboxes will allow my students to complete content related activities while working with a team to complete breakout rooms. 2) A set of fake money will allow my business students to see what a classroom economy looks like throughout the year and to track spending and income. 3) 3 charging stations will allow my students a place to put their personal electronic devices while they are in the classroom so that they are out of the way while learning is taking place. 4) Pencils and a pencil sharpener will make sure that all of my students have the most important tool at their disposal every day in the classroom. I have seen how learning that engages students drives excitement and growth in the classroom and I'm excited to bring these new resources to my students!
