"If music be the food of love, play on." -Shakespeare Hi! Thank you so much for taking the time to read this proposal. I teach music to students in grades 6-8 at a K-8 school. Our school is a bilingual magnet school in a high-need community. It is my ninth year at the school, and previously, there was no music at all for a number of years. Over the past nine years we have worked hard to build up a thriving music program, including piano and guitar instruction, multiple performing ensembles, a school musical, and various clubs.
