I am hoping to receive headphones to increase learning through online programs. My students are using technology on a daily basis for vocabulary acquisition, discovery of a new language and improving their speaking while listening. They also use computers to practice their decoding and phonemic awareness skills and reading comprehension. My students will use their headphones daily to hear the concepts they are learning in the targeted language! Headphones will be used as a scaffold to support struggling learners during independent practice. A few of the online programs the students will be utilizing headphones are Pearson Realize, IReady, Reflex, Lexia and Reading Plus.
