My students need Hokki stools that allow quiet body movement which can stimulate the mind and increase time on task! Many students struggle with staying focused for an extended period of time. Often, sitting still in a seat during a lesson can be difficult for many students who are high energy learners. When I borrowed stools from a colleague to use with my students, I was so impressed with how they were more focused while moving as they read, instead of being distracted! One student remarked, "Mrs, Thomas, I really liked getting my wiggles out and reading new words today." The use of these stools can benefit each student in my small group by increasing their focus and motivation to becoming great readers.
