A new pitching screen and pitching machine balls will help to upgrade our batting cage area. We currently have an "L" shaped screen with holes in it. These screens are used for baseball, not softball, so full protection is not offered to the person operating the machine. During practice, hitting stations are in full force so the girls can improve their batting skills. These items will allow our bunting station to be upgraded. Many of the girls don't even know what a "bunt" is. Learning how to bunt properly will give this team of girls an offensive edge over their opponents.
