We are studying a science unit about plants. We will learn very important facts about plants. The best way to learn about plants is observing them, watching them grow from a seed, taking care of them. However, the classrooms in our school do not have windows, and there is not a good place to grow a garden outside either. Most of my students live in mobile homes, and do not have a garden at home either. My students will love to see a seed grow, and learn more about plants. They will discover, wonder, ask questions, and learn new skills. They will learn about responsibility while they take care of our plants. They will also learn about cause and effect, cooperation, reasoning, creativity, and to love nature. There is a table in the classroom that is perfect to set the Growlab ll Compact Garden on, and with the Grow Your Own Organic Veggies Classroom kit we will have everything we need to start our garden right away. With the Jiffi 7 Peat Pellets Pack of 24 we will have enough pellets to plant other varieties of plants. Our own garden inside our classroom! There is so many possibilities!
