My students rarely have any access to technology outside of their cellphones. They do not know how to conduct good research other than to google information and copy text that they see. We need these chromebooks so my students learn essential computer skills for future college and career opportunities. Technology is central to all manner of life in this country and if my students are to be successful in life, they must master technology in the classroom. We will use these computers to learn how to use the internet to its fullest potential. They will complete online learning activities and also participate in independent projects.
