My students love to read! In our classroom, students have access to a small selection of books. They are always looking for new books to read. Many of my students do not have books at home to read, so I encourage them to borrow books from the classroom library. Throughout the year our classroom library has diminished and we do not have the funds to restock the shelves. Kindles for our classroom would be a great solution to our problem. A donation of Kindles would provide my students with an endless opportunity for reading. It would also integrate the use of technology, which is also limited to my students. I want to enhance their reading by providing them with the resources to continue doing what they love to do - read!
