Our soccer players do not have such basic practice equipment like goal posts, pinnies to help differentiate between opposing players during practice, and gloves to help the goalkeeper protect his hands for comfortable saves at the goal posts. This set of equipment order will no doubt encourage these young players to continue to play the sport they love. As the coach of these young players, I demand much from them and emphasize on the important link between academics, life, and sports. These young men must not only pass their courses to play their sport, they also have to elevate the quality of their individual conduct and relationship with people on and off the pitch to be successful as a team and as individuals.
