These chest waders will allow our students to go outside to perform a wide variety of water quality tests. We will be working with a local DNR water quality manager as well as several other science teachers with extensive water testing experience to help us better understand how we many our watersheds. This project will allow our students to EXPERIENCE and PARTICIPATE in actual scientific​ research being conducted in our area. This will lead to a much stronger connection to the content and perhaps inspiration to do more, whether a potential career or becoming actively involved in the many citizen science projects in our area.

About my class
