I would like to take my seventh-grade advanced science students on a two-day, overnight field trip to the Ozark Natural Science Center. This incredible experience immerses students in an outdoor, environmental education program where they can apply the knowledge and skills they have been working so hard to develop this year. They will be able to use what they have learned in biology, ecology and geology as well as conservation and stewardship to go even further in a 400-acre outdoor classroom surrounded by an even larger wildlife management area. I do not want any student to miss out on this in awesome experience because of the cost. Funds have already been secured to bring down the tuition fee required for each student. While this is an incredible discount, it is still beyond what many of my students can afford. Meals, lodging and educational programming are all included in the tuition cost of the trip. The school will cover transportation costs. I am asking for donors such as yourself to help provide scholarships for students that cannot pay any or part of the tuition.
