In Reggio Emilia, a city in northern Italy where preschools are renowned for their quality of education, the teachers refer to the materials they provide and the classroom environment as the "third teacher" in the room. I am hoping to add my "third teacher" to the room by asking for your help in support. We need reading folders, writing folders, and four-sectioned spelling and poetry folders. These folders will supply each student a reading, writing, and spelling/poetry folder to organize our many shared reading and writing experiences. Currently, we use plastic ziplock bags and paper folders that are hand-me-downs in a variety of shapes and sizes. Papers go missing and crumpled and unorganized in this way. Please help! Thank you very much.
