In our Accelerated Reader program, students are expected to read 30 minutes a day. Access to interesting books of various reading levels is a must in motivating students to meet their AR goals. My dream is to have so many great books that students struggle to make a book choice. My goal as a teacher is to generate a love of reading in my students, and I am able to do that when I can provide students with great books. My classroom library is the most important part of my room. It is where students come together to read and discuss books and develop a love of reading. Students who excel at reading are able to excel in school and consequently excel in life. Contributing to my classroom library will put my students on the path to a successful future.
