Our unique new school is launching its first-ever yearbook! As a School Social Worker, I am one of the founding staff of a special new public high school in New York, which features an exciting new school model, designed to be responsive student's individual needs as we prepare them to meet life's challenges and opportunities. Students who attend our school are drawn to our small class sizes, attention to student wellness, and unique college and career program. Together with our students -- many of whom live with the various obstacles of urban poverty -- we are piloting an incredible new model for all students to gain access to a great education.
