Student learning occurs best in a warm safe environment. When my students walk into the classroom each day I want them to be excited to be there and to be excited to learn! When students want to be in the classroom learning can really take place. Learning should be fun and engaging. The Fill-in-the blank phonics stamps and the lower case and upper case stamps with ink pads will help my students learn to build words and fill in missing sounds. The vowel sounds sorting garden will help my students learn and hear the difference between long and short vowel sounds in a fun and engaging way. The foam dry erase blocks will be used for a various math and literacy centers. The jumbo magnetic ten-frames set and ten frames activity dice will help my students learn about tens frames in a fun hands on way. The magnetic write & wipe mat will be used to model writing correctly. The people colors crayons are a great resource for all teachers to have to help make each child feel special and to be proud of who they are since most crayon set don’t always have the color they need to color themselves in their art work. Last the clear storage bins will help me keep my classroom organized which can be hard at times when teaching kindergarten!
