My student with cerebral palsy enjoys participating in classroom activities and interaction. Yet, she needs devices that provide a soothing effect and independence! The pea pod and swing will allow her to enjoy typical activities of peers her age. I know she will love both the swing and pea pod. I can't wait to get the items and see the happiness it will bring her! Currently, she is unable to sit unsupported, so myself or our paraprofessional must hold in our laps. If we are unable to do that, she must sit in her wheelchair during these activities. We can't wait to give her the independence to participate in these activities!
