Because of insufficient electrical outlets an storage, our Ipad usage is very limited. We have this wonderful technology and software, but it is nearly impossible to use effectively without proper charging and storage. The Commmon Core assessments are given on computers and my students will better be able to demonstrate their knowledge if they are familiar with using the technology to write math. If they do not have practice, the tests will measure how quickly they can learn a software rather than how well they understand Algebra. With this charging cart, all of my students will have daily access to Ipads, giving them the opportunities that many kids take for granted.
