I want to be the teacher who can integrate technology seamlessly into my students curriculum instead of viewing it as an add-on, an afterthought, or an event. I want my students to be able to experience and see how technology can help them in their daily learning. With limited funding, my students do not get the same opportunities other students do. My students want to prove themselves day in an day out! I work in a low socioeconomic area where opportunity does not show its face. By providing my class with a laptop, I am giving them the opportunity to go beyond the walls of just books and worksheets, I am giving them a whole new world they can experience, explore, and learn to operate in.
