My classroom was originally a 3rd grade classroom before it was turned into a Pre-K classroom. The addition of a bathroom in the room resulted in the removal of half of the closet. The portion of the closet we have left is very small. Only 2 children can access it at a time and over the years, majority of the hooks have broken. The other hooks are too high for the children to reach. These coat cubbies would make such a difference in our classroom. The students have become frustrated because they are learning to be independent and the simple task of hanging up their things can't be done on their own. With these new coat cubbies, they can be independent again!
