These materials will provide scholars with learning resources that can be used during center rotations. Using technology to encourage learning is most effective and extremely fun for my scholars. Moreover, these tablets will also increase state testing scores as well as fine motor practice for scholars. There are many games that help scholars understand difficult concepts and give them control of their learning. Scholars will be engaged and have many options and opportunities to explore different games when reinforcing skills taught in class. Furthermore, scholars will be able to document their learning experiences and create paperless portfolios. Having this project funded will support scholars in their own learning and finding a sense of independence.
