While it's certainly worthwhile to use Earth Day to help students understand the importance of “going green,” it’s also crucial to encourage students to be environmentally conscious throughout the year. Our school would like to purchase gardening supplies, such as soil and a plant light house, so that we can start a garden on the premises of our school. Creating such as place would help our school to become an official “green school” in Houston, Texas. We are looking forward to seeing how our school can help save our planet by planting plants and recycling to save energy to keep our planet livable. These materials will be put to good use.
