New basketballs will be used every day for girls modified basketball practice and on game days. After the modified basketball season is over we also run an after school basketball program for 4th-6th grade boys and girls. The balls will be used for this as well. There is no better feeling than holding a new basketball in your hands. The used basketballs we practice with do not hold air and they are very slippery to hang on to. Our practices will be enhanced with new basketballs. We are trying to build girls basketball in Lafayette and new basketballs will be a step in the right direction.
