My students are in need of supplies and positive incentives. They really enjoy the pens I have selected and are willing to work hard for them. Many do not have enough money at home to get these supplies through their parents. The highlighters are used for a grade tracking sheet in which they show their growth in knowledge. The treats are also part of that rewards system. They will be able to work with technology hands on and be able to make conclusions about human's impact on the environment. The students will use the beakers, pH probes and conductivity probes to take in data about pollution that could show up in our local lakes and streams. We already have oxygen and carbon dioxide probes to take air quality samples. After we collect data, we will come together and derive the significance of it.
