Making sure that all students have headphones is essential for this learning. I usually write to businesses for donations but businesses are struggling and we did not get much support from them. Your donations have helped us to put \"carrots\" in front of the students to help them keep pushing on and working hard. We used the resources as items for a drawing for having no missing work. The students got tickets for every class they did not have missing work.\r\n\r\nWhen we got the box of gifts for incentives the students were excited. We posted a picture with all of the gifts on a TV in the hallway. The students would just stop, look at them, and raved about the ones they wished they would win. I believe it motivated students to make up everything they could and gave them a positive reason why. It also was a good excuse to work hard without appearing too eager about school. Middle school is a tricky time in life where you want to work hard and have a social life.\r\n\r\nParents have been so grateful to teachers this year and the teachers' have appreciated their kindness. This Donor's choose was a way for parents to support teachers and their school. It is also a way that teachers could pay it back to their children. This year we have had the most support and we have been ever so grateful for the support.
