Headgear is a required equipment for high school wrestling and for many programs it is left to athletes to purchase their own headgear. Headgear is not only a requirement during mathces but it is important to use in practice as well in order for wrestlers to protect their ears from cauliflower ear that will permanently damage their ears. Our program currently has enough headgear to supply wrestlers during matches but not near enough to supply wrestlers at practice where the majority of damage to the ears is done. Please help us purchase headgear for all wreslters in both the high school and middle school wrestling programs.
