Kindergarten students are full of energy and need to move while they are learning. My project allows my students the opportunity to move and get their whole body engaged in learning tasks. Students need to be moving. The items I am requesting will make that happen. The Bouncy Bands will be placed on a students chair legs. This band allows a child to move their feet while they are working without kicking or touching someone else. How many of you tap your foot while you sit and type? The bouncy bands are a way to help the students do just that. The Wobble stools allow children to move as they work they have to balance the stool while they are seated. These stools are comfortable and help with posture as well. Finally, the soft seats will allow a child to sit and work on the floor if that is where they select to work. Every student is different some may choose to sit on the floor and work while others need the opportunity to move as they work. My project allows for my students to have a choice in what works best for them. When a child's needs are met only then can true learning take place!
