The use of interactive notebooks is a daily activity in my chemistry classroom. Using interactive notebooks, students are capable of expressing and reflecting on their daily learning. Students will use notebooks to take notes, complete interactive activities, journal daily learning, record data from labs, and much more! The notebooks allow me to see exactly what they are doing, as well as provide an easy place for them to show and share their work. What becomes a problem is the fact that the regular composition notebooks do not seem to last the whole school year as they become torn and ruined. These specific notebooks are capable of lasting the whole school year and will allow the students to keep their notebooks throughout their academic careers. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand by enjoying the process. Plus these notebooks will allow students to learn life-long organizational skills.
