These books will help our students improve their reading skills closer to a fifth grade level. Some of the books found in our classroom are outdated and do not meet the needs and interests of our students. We need different level books that would meet the needs of the students. Students will be able to have their own personal book bags to take home where they can continue to develop their reading skills. The limited number of books in classroom prohibits students from developing and improving their reading skills and strategies. It is our goal that strengthening our girls as readers will made them better students in all academic areas leading them towards meaningful and successful lives.
