The students who will use this camera are sixth graders in the District of Columbia. Upon beginning middle school, they are both anxious and excited about taking a science course. For many of our students, it is their first opportunity to work in a lab and truly begin investigating the world around them through hands-on and inquiry-based science activities. Unfortunately our science lab lacks basic supplies such as microscopes.
