These simple, three-letter words like \"cat,\" \"dog,\" and \"hat\" follow predictable phonetic patterns, making them ideal for teaching letter/sound relationships. A fun way to reinforce this skill is by using hands-on activities, like matching an upper case letter \"key\" to its lower case \"lock\" to open it, helping children connect letter recognition with interactive learning and making the experience engaging and memorable.\r\n\r\nSequencing numbers up to 30 in kindergarten is important because it lays the foundation for number sense and mathematical thinking. When children learn to put numbers in order, they begin to understand concepts like counting forward and backward and identifying what comes before or after a given number. These skills are essential for future math skills such as addition and subtraction. Using hands-on activities like puzzles, or matching games makes sequencing more engaging and helps young learners internalize number order in an interactive way.","fullyFundedDate":1738888589432,"projectUrl":"project/kindergarten-table-4/9095869/","projectTitle":"Kindergarten Table #4","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Kargol","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp3421892_orig.png?crop=722,722,x160,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1626125733291","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mr-kargol"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_32463","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":860,"numTeachers":37,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":51,"percentWhite":26,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":10,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"23.2:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":57.8,"schoolId":32463,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about MacDowell Montessori School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"MacDowell Montessori School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/wisconsin/milwaukee-public-schools/montessori-ib-high-school/32463"}
