I teach Kindergarten in a Title I School in South Sacramento, CA. My Kinders are a very culturally diverse group. Nearly all of them receive free/reduced priced breakfast AND lunch. Many of my students suffer from trauma caused by a myriad of situations - drugs, homelessness, food insecurity and instability at home. Yet even with all that these 5 year olds deal with at home, they come to school ready to learn and a smile on their face! Please help my students be successful!
