I'm Kelly Burns and I have spent my education career with our littlest learners, in 4-Year Old Kindergarten & 5-Year Old Kindergarten classrooms. This age group holds a very special place in my teaching heart! They are smart, playful, curious, confident researchers, scientists and learners -- and I think that's the best way to go about it -- no matter your age. That said, I believe in the idea that play is essential at this age and am doing my level best to maintain a classroom where that is the primary work of our students.
