At first, the students rotated the seats to see which students liked having a ball chair. Now, most days, the same students use them and they really work. \r\n\r\nThe students using the chairs that allow the wiggle room are able to much better concentrate on their work and focus. They spend more time focusing in class on class discussions and participate without disruptions or fidgeting. Some students were sometimes moving so much, they would fall off or backwards in their chairs. This is no longer an issue. They have really helped to create a more comfortable, engaging, and ultimately more focused learning environment. Students appreciate the choice that this afford them in the classroom, which leads to better outcomes for some students in my math, reading, and writing classes.\r\nThere isn't a day when the chairs aren't in use! I've been really impressed with two of the chairs, in particular, because they still look pristine after two months.
