My students have special needs. They need to feel confident. They need to be able to concentrate. They need to be engaged. Our students have shown growth when we have everything in place for them, such as bouncy bands for chairs, fidgets, paint, headphones and an interactive white board that allows us to create opportunities for movement in the classroom. Our students are those who struggle but believe that they will succeed. When students are engaged, they are able to feel successful. The writing and reading comprehension is what is going to support our students for the rest of their lives and you can help set them up for life.
