There are fun and engaging videos included with every issue. The issues themselves are used as a shared reading activity. They written in ways that are accessible to very young children. They include questions and activities that deepen understanding. Scholastic News also includes a Spanish version to help Spanish-speaking parents read and discuss the topics with their children.
