My students have many sensory needs within the classroom. The sensory items in this project will be used in our calm down area in the classroom. This area gives my students a place to go when they are feeling overwhelmed and helps them learn self-regulation strategies. The STEM products in this project will support my students in knowing and implementing Next Gen Science Standards. My students learn best with hands on materials. Through building with and manipulating the materials students will be able to learn how the world around them works.

About my class
