My students have been asking me why the other classes have tricycles and we do not. To this question, I have no good reply. So, we decided to put our idea on DonorsChoose.org's website and see what we can get. Along with the tricycles, they will need helmets. Since we will need to take turns on the trikes, we decided that we should get a few more outdoor play items, like stilts and a parachute, for others to do while waiting their turn. We are learning about healthy habits and how to take care of ourselves. Through exercise and play, we are establishing healthy habits that we can continue for the rest of our lives.
