The use of a portable flip chart in the modern day classroom has the potential to reset the boundaries of a student’s academic achievement. I believe that all students have the capability to learn, but not all students learn the same way. In my classroom, the instruction is specifically tailored to meet the needs of each individual student. Therefore, each day I ensure that my teaching style is adjusted to fit the student’s needs. Small group instruction statistically has shown drastic improvement in classroom success. Through small group instruction students will be able ask and answer questions without the embarrassment of standing in front of a crowd of people. Through your generous donation of a portable flip chart, students of the 21st century will have the opportunity to work at their own pace, learn from their mathematical errors, and receive instruction at their level in a small group setting.
