Technology is a tool that can help even the most struggling of students. In our class we hope to use these Chromebooks to help learners find ways to succeed. In our class this year we have several students who need the help of technology daily so that they may not just meet expectations, but exceed expectations. In a classroom full of a variety of different students, each learner has differences in how they take in and understand information. Some in particular require the use of keyboards and typing tools to help them become better writers and to help motivate them in their strengths. Chromebooks are a tool these students can use to improve their writing through programs such as Google Classroom. Students will be able to take AR tests, which encourage them to read. In addition this will allow students to participate in the new math program, which is almost exclusively online. This will help to prepare them all for the state test at the end of the school year as well as help them understand how to use technology responsibly. By donating to this project you will have a hand in encouraging and challenging students to become lifelong learners. As students become more familiar with the world of technology, they can grow and develop skills that will help them to be responsible, educated and ultimately teachers in the area of technology.
