By incorporating flexible seating in the classroom this will allow students to choose a comfortable place to sit during lessons all while remaining engaged in the lesson. I plan to incorporate this in my classroom with this carpet as of right now students only have the choice to sit on a cushion or on the bare floor. I also plan to use this carpet to enhance my small and large group activities. The carpet will help with planning when students are needed to come together during more structured time while also allowing them to become independent during independent reading or work times.

About my class
