I am a primary teacher in a Title 1 school located in Union City, GA. My students are working hard to achieve despite their home environments and communities. One way for my students to excel is through daily exposure to a world beyond what they know through books! Reading opens doors that no one can close and knowledge is the key to overcome their struggles. Our classroom library is in dire need of grade level appropriate texts that display the diversity of our student population and aid in their growth as readers. Thank you for reviewing my project.
