The magnetic letters will allow students to practice making words that we are working on which will help with their reading automaticity. Students need to not only know how to read the words but how to spell it. The magnetic letters will give them hands on practice with making the words. With the Reading Totes, students will be able to practice their reading at home. Most do not have the appropriate reading level books at home. Students will be able to take their book home and keep it safe bringing it back and forth using the reading totes. This will also give parents quality time with their child while they listen to them read.
