I am requesting a water treatment model and weather station that will allow my students to more concretely understand hydraulic and atmospheric processes. Labs and models are a great way for students to conceptualize these topics and truly engage in the content. This will greatly add to the classroom experience for students and increase engagement during units on the hydrosphere and atmosphere. Donations to this project will allow my students opportunities they may not otherwise have access to and give them a better understanding of the world in which they live. It is through these types of experiences that student can start to understand their impact on the environment and become better stewards of the Earth.
