My students come from a variety of backgrounds. Many have parents that do not read to them because of a limitation of the English language. This project will help enhance their love of books and stories. They will gain exposure to text, visually and auditory. Listening to books on the CD Player will add an excitement to their reading and having their own copy of the book to look at while they listen will develop their ability to track print. Books are the key to unlocking a vast world of learning and adventure. Having the ability to hear and see these books with this CD player will give them the access to continue their love of learning and reading.
