My students need the opportunity to access books and reading in various ways. In the classroom, they have the opportunity to buddy read and participate in read-a-louds. It would be very beneficial for my students to have the opportunity to read along while listening to a book. That would help them to build their reading behaviors and ultimately become a strong reader. A listening center will allow them to access books audibly. Also, the feature of wireless headphones, will allow them to comfortably listen and participate without being distracted by wires. Therefore, no matter their reading level they will be engaged in the book!
