The New York Times Upfront Magazine will give my students personal, hands on, and relevant reference material. Without a textbook to use my students are in desperate need of reading material that is on-level and pertinent to them. Upfront does a phenomenal job of helping students not only with their reading levels but also pairing them with standard-based educational articles. The US Citizenship and Naturalization flash cards will significantly help my students' to understand Civics and Government. From the 3 Branches of Government to the different Rights and Responsibilities of citizens - these cards will not only be helpful in studying for tests/quizzes but also to become better Americans.
