The requested supplies would be beneficial in my new special education class to ensure that we have a safe calm reading corner in our room The Reading Nook will supply needed reading materials and a safe calm space to read them in! Books, magazines, a comfy place to read them! My Students need a place to practice self-management, to calm down and what better place to do so but in a safe comfortable and well-stocked reading Nook. The magazines chosen will give them content reading. Books will give them both real-life Community Helper jobs and help prep them before taking them out into the community. The red fluffy chair will be a welcoming sensory comfort for calming moments while learning!
