The art supplies will be used almost daily. Many of our lessons utilize art supplies for lesson completion. For instance, we read the story The Kissing Hand at the beginning of the school year. After hearing the story, the children complete an art project related to the story. Most of the kindergarten lessons have an art project which requires basic art supplies such as crayons and markers. This is one of the most satisfying aspects of the lessons for the children. They look forward to working with color and adding their own expressive flair to their projects. I love to see the children showing their projects at the end of the lesson with great pride.
