I work at Sunland Park Academy, formerly known as Sunland Park Elementary, which is a title 1 school located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and is predominately in an African-American lower socio-economic community. Ninety-eight percent of the students are economically disadvantaged receiving free or reduced lunch. I love what I do and know that I make a difference in the lives of many, but I can not do it alone.
