Do you remember what it is like to learn a completely new language? My eager and fun-loving third grade students are learning Mandarin in a dual immersion program. They are immersed in Mandarin while learning their Common Core State standards based curriculum. Many comes from a low socioeconomic background, and speak several languages; but their love of learning unifies them as a class family. Our school is a Title I, Performance Improvement school with 98% participating in the free lunch program. Many parents work two jobs and are struggling to support the family. Your donations will motivate our students to thrive in school.
